Model Expo

During the week of July 20 - 27 The Smoke Stack hobby Shop will be holding our first Model Expo.

 

This will not be a competition event. We want to feature models from all genres and all levels and provide an opportunity to meet other model builders, exchange ideas, hear from some of our local experts (yes, that could be you). We will kick off the week on Saturday July 20th with a model display and open house from 10 am - 6 pm, so please bring your projects to display, You'll have an opportunity to talk with other modelers and encourage newcomers to the hobby.

 

For those willing to leave their models for the following week, we will have tables set up for that purpose. We will do our best to keep them safe during the week. BONUS! If you bring in any item(s) for display, you will receive a coupon for 10% off a single purchase any time during the event (one coupon per person).

 

We'll close the Model Expo on Saturday, July 27th with another opportunity to bring your models for the day, participate in some discussions, and win some participation prizes from 10 am - 6 pm. This event will run concurrent with the Lancaster Arts Festival. We'd like to highlight our modeler's talents this week and provide an opportunity for you to meet others and exchange ideas. We always see extra visitors to the shop during Festival Week and we aim to show off your talents!

 

On July 27 we will be partnering with the local Fairfield County Library to present a Warhammer figure painting class at the Main Library in downtown Lancaster. See our Facebook page for more details.
